The large warehouse is an occidental trade building that provides market carts which pick up goods from production buidlings as well as a location to trade with passing ships.

Large warehouses cannot be built directly but instead can only be upgraded from medium warehouses. The total cost for a large warehouse is eight hundred gold coins, seven wood, six tools, seven stones, and two glass which includes the price of of preceding medium warehouse. Typically you would only be paying three hundred fifty gold coins, two wood, one tool, three stones, and two glass for the actual upgrade from a medium warehouse to a large warehouse.
Warehouses are used to claim islands and one must be built before any other buildings can be built. Only one warehouse is allowed per island.
