The almond plantation is an oriental farm building that produces almonds, which are needed to make Marzipan.

The cost for an almond plantation is five hundred gold coins, four wood, six tools, and ten mosaics. For full production speed at least five almond fields must be planted for one hundred twenty gold coins apiece. That brings the total cost for a fully functioning almond plantation up to eleven hundred gold coins, four wood, six tools, and ten mosaics.
One almond plantation working at full capacity produces two tons of almonds a minute. That's enough almonds to run a confectioner's workshop at half-capacity.
Almond plantations will only produce almonds on islands with the requisite fertility which only appears on oriental islands. Almond seeds can be purchased from Grand Vizier Al Zahir and planted on any oriental island that has a customizable resource.
